日本のお正月 New Year Celebrations in Japan




（日本からの投稿） 1月1日には新年の伝統的な料理である「おせち」を食べます。おせち料理には、それぞれ新年を祝う特別な意味があります。母と私は12月31日に丸一日かけておせちを用意しました。（作ったおせちの写真も見てください！）

（アメリカからの投稿） 今週はフレッシュマンの週ですから、今週私はとても忙しいです。中学三年生（フレッシュマン）は高校二年生の「お姉さん」があって、高校二年生のお姉さんは中学三年に手伝います。金曜日に中学三年生はパフォーマンスをしなければなりませんから、高校二年生のお姉さんはダンスを教えなければなりません。時々難しいになるので、ストレスがいぱいです。でも、金曜日を楽しみにしています。
（A post from USA） This week is the “Freshmen Week” of our school. Each freshman is paired with a junior student who helps her. Freshmen will perform a dance for the whole school on Friday, so now juniors are teaching them. Sometimes it gets difficult and stressful, but I am waiting for the day.
