There is a case when using the English version of Windows XP to access the Tsunagaaru page that it will not display any characters other than alphabet characters. The cause of this is that in the English version of Windows XP it does not contain characters for Japanese, Chinese, or Korean; however, this problem can be solved by installing the "East Language Pack".

*Prior Preparation: Beforehand please prepare the Windows XP CD-ROM.
(If you do not have the Windows XP CD-ROM, pre-installing it on a hard disk is acceptable as well.)
1. Log on to XP. If you have the Professional Edition please log on as an administrator.
2. Click "Start" - "Control panel" - "Date, Time, Language and Regional Option."

3. Click the "Regional and Language Option" button and then click on the "Language" tab. In the "Supplemental language support" column check the "Install files for East Asian languages" box and then press the OK button.

4. The Windows XP CD-ROM may be needed at this time so please set out the CD. The installation should start automatically, however, if it does not please click OK.
If Windows XP has been pre-installed on your PC the installation should start automatically.
(Note: At the time of purchase it should have already been installed.)
If the installation does not start,
you can follow the instruction to be displayed as below.
Insert the designated CD into the tray and then press OK.

5. After installing, restart Windows XP.
